Neural interface or in other words brain-computer interface is the direct communication between the brain’s neural system and an external device.
To make it simpler, these devices are electronic ships for example that might be placed on the inside or outside of the brain or the nervous system and are able to restore or change what we are able to do.
Neural interface devices first occurred in the form of machines that help people having disabilities like hearing loss which are called “Cochlear implants”.
Nowadays, researchers are working on improving these machines to allow people with paralysis to walk again or even create chips that help control certain technologies.
